Land Surveying

Surveys precise enough to design from.

ALTA, boundary, topographic, construction stakeout, and GPS control — delivered by Ohio-licensed surveyors who understand how the data feeds the next phase of engineering.

Surveying that doesn't stop at the line.

A survey that's just a drawing is a survey that costs you in the field. Our crews deliver data in formats your engineer, architect, or contractor can use immediately — CAD linework with proper layer structure, surfaces ready for grading, and control tied to the state plane coordinate system with documented monumentation.

Because the same firm that surveys your site often designs it, we know which points matter, which contours can be generalized, and where utility mapping needs to be confirmed before staking. That integration saves our clients both time and money.

Surveying FAQ.

How much does an ALTA survey cost in Ohio?

ALTA survey fees depend on site size, vegetation, and the level of detail required by the title company. Most Ohio commercial ALTA surveys fall between $3,000 and $12,000. We provide a fixed-fee proposal after reviewing the commitment for title insurance.

How long does a topographic survey take?

A typical 1- to 5-acre topographic survey is field-worked in 1 to 3 days, with the CAD deliverable ready in 5 to 10 business days. Larger sites or those with dense vegetation take longer.

Do you provide construction staking for residential additions?

Yes. We stake residential foundations, driveways, septic systems, and grading for additions and new homes throughout Northeast Ohio.
